Live-Action 'Dragonball' Set For August 2008

In an article published last week by The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox is readying the start of production on their live-action adaptation of "Dragonball" (note the absence of a "Z") with a projected release date of August 15, 2008.
Justin Chatwin ("War of the Worlds") has been cast as Goku and is reportedly already in training, while James Marsters ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") will play Piccolo. Screenplay and direction will be provided by James Wong ("Final Destination") while Stephen Chow ("Kung Fu Hustle", Shaolin Soccer") is attached as producer.
