Heh, I've met quite a few that are actually turned onto it. On a few separate occasions I've talked to girls and I mentioned anime in a sentance. It was like their heart stopped or something and it ends up turning into hour long discussions ^_^;;
You just have to find the right kind of chicks. Best things to look for are Goth/Punk girls or College artsy girls.

For some reason, at my school, all the 'artsy goth girls' who either are or would be into anime, are not very attractive at all. Except this one girl. You know, I've never mentione anime to her . . . makes me wonder . . .

Same here. They go crazy over anything like this one I know. She's love Tenchi Muyo for some reason. I like it and have some of the cards, but that's it. |

Odd, just yesterday I heard on the radio that they figured out when Van Gogh did that famous paining of the moon above the mountain. No one knew before now, and some people spent a long time trying to figure it out. Because of certain details in the painting, and the cliff that was used, and the phase of the moon, and stuff in an un-dated letter he wrote to his brother, they've figured out that he had to paint it on July 13, 1888. Neato, eh?

This brings me back to the only time I attended the Anime club meeting at my school. It was utterly horrendous. I thought an attractive girl was coming in, but she just wanted to speak to the teacher/sponsor i guess. I left quickly... Plus the club was just so crappy. It was an insult to anime, and a waste of my lunch hour.

All I do say aside from myself making a self reflection in the mirror to see if I'm a punk chick or something.Is quit the opposite, I honestly don't know many guys who are into anime and sci-fi, why? I don't know, but maybe because they keep it hush or something. But you guys ...you guys scare the ga jibbers out of me, with your over the top extreme know it all anime whatchyoumaycallit knowledge.
