For all of us tech guys our favorite channel is getting more and more anime exposure.

Here's the article for the FLCL review they did on The Screen Savers...

http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/supergeek/story/0,24330,3408196,00.html

And here's a sound file announcing to the world that TechTV will start airing anime in their lineup starting December 30th...

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/article.php?id=2840

No one knows what show(s) they'll get, but let's just be happy for this news.

Tech TV is a channel on advances in technology and info on other things. Tech TV does have a hand of original shows including The Screen Savers, Extended Play, and The Tech Of, not to mention classic shows like Thunderbirds.

First the Anime Network, and now this? Oooh yeah!!! I wonder if they'll show old anime(like Star Blazers or Speed Racer) since they've already been showing Thunderbirds(60's action show with puppets)? They'll probably stick to tech-related anime, like Robotech(but it's anyone's guess). Wow, and I thought Tech TV was great before! Shocked Very Happy

If they stick to Tech related stuff then odds are it would be Macross and not Robotech, Robotech is extremely old and the dub is a little freaky, that and Macross would have a lot more value for them, what with Macross DYRL , 2012, Macross 7, Macross Plus. and Macross Zero coming out in Japan in a few months by the time Macross would make on run Macross Zero would likely be coming to America.

Mad Must . . . hate . . . Cox!! Evil or Very Mad

We used to have TechTV, and it was good. However, about four months after the name change, the cable provider decided that they would move TTV to digital cable (which costs $25/mo. more) to make room for C-SPAN 2. The reason? allegedly, only 300 people a day watched it. I KNOW there are at least 300 people at my school who watched it religiously. I honestly don't know how they believed that another "All Congress, all the time" channel would be more popular. Nyargh!

I have cox cable but unless you have Digital cable, you can't have Tech TV. Sad thing is, TechTV is the only thing worth getting on Digital so its not worth the price, in my parents opinion. Evil or Very Mad

This almost makes up for DirecTV not wanting to carry the International Channel. That and my parents are too cheap to get the Action Channel.
