...couldn't access either one, but i'll just take dread's word for it...
(i really need to get me some recording equipment, it'd be cool to get some feedback on the music a friend and i have been working on...)

well you can either cut and paste the link, click on it, when the window opens get rid of the .wav ending of the file and maybe it will open then.

Right click and select Save As, themn you can D/L it.

[added after downloading] wow...have you had any voice training in the past dill? i mean, you did a great job with matching notes in that "samurai" song...

I used to be in a really big choir if that counts (proffesional) but that was like four years ago in 1998, I'm not good at warming up my voice but I still remember the exercises and if I'm going to do something large then I try to do them.
Samurai Drive and YOU I didn't warm up on, and after a while it strains so it always teaches me to warm up first I guess even though I never do!
Anyway, thanks guys! Next time we do karaoke in the bar I can REALLY do karaoke now I have the confidence. I hope TWEWK has the confidence to sing too

well, it definitely shows...i have yet to hear myself sing due to no recording equipment, but from what friends have told me, my main problem is keeping in key...since i've had no voice training at all, i just kinda imitate without any real idea of what i'm doing...
...oddly enough, unlike what most may think, i have a deep bass voice...makes it good for singing metallica, but i can't even consider approaching my favorites (steven tyler, sammy hagar, etc.) which are just so many octaves above my range...
but, enough about me...i'm really impressed with your voice dill...i'll try to find that first song somewhere so i can get a better idea of what it is you're singing...

I'm with JJc, I can only sing bass. I can try and sing normal, but I think I'd cause permenant damage to anyones ears. I used to sign real high, I was the lead signer in my schools Christmas play in 97. I got to solo "Around the wold its Christmas" now i can't "sing" at all ;_;

I'll record the first verse of YOU for you, just wait a few minutes *I'm so generous* but I'm afraid I did A LOT worse on that one than the second one, I messed up some of the lines.
