It's not required to when it's on THE MAIN DAMN PAGE.
If you don't see it, your fault. This is the site discussion forum. It discusses the site, and to my knowledge that includes TDA, not just TI.
Linking to the TDA in this case would be the equivalent of having a text link to Google's main page. It's stupid and pointless. I could link to the actual video if I wanted to, but that's not worth it.

I can hear the artifacts in QDesign too much.
...and AAC encodes faster, decodes faster, sounds better, etc...
