Yeah, there goes 2 hours of tape every night. Damnit, I'd much prefer they stuck to the weekends. But now I gotta tape from 12-2 every day. Damn CN. Why must they tease me so? _________________ anime is teh s uck

I'm in high school. You're in college. I have to leave my house at 7 in the morning. You get to sleep until noon on some days. I need a full 8 hours or I'm dead during the day. Get the picture? _________________ anime is teh s uck

Like I said before CN is going to loose so much by doing this. They're main audience is males 14-25 most of which have school or work on weekdays. ASA was popular and had a large viewership just because it was on a saturday when there wasn't nothing else good to watch besides SNL. _________________ Bang. |

And it helped that SNL has been getting worse and worse since Farley and Hartman died and Sandler and others left. _________________ anime is teh s uck

But they don't want the 14-25 demographic for Adult Swim. They're shooting for 18-34 cause that's where the money is.
Besides, now you 14-25's will get seven and a half hours of Toonami on Saturday nights.
Lucky b's. I can't see either block. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

but even they have work and can't stay up till 2am every freakin night. Besides you have to be kidding if you think they want a demograpic that has less intrest in the programs. The only reason they pretend to want a much older group is so the censors and activists won't think they are targeting violence and the such to younger kids. _________________ Bang. |

That's why they're trying to find programs that do interest 18-34 year-olds.
And you're forgetting the big reason they want 18-34. Adverti$ing dollar$. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

That list doesn't look like it has much to offer the average 18-34 male... _________________ Bang. |

I did emphasize "trying".
Of course, I'm neither average nor 18-34. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

hey now.... I get up at 10am on mondays, tuesdays, and fridays. 6am on wednesday and thursday. I'd rather have a day at high school than my thursday schedule (4 hours of art history and 4 hours of law then sometimes 4 hours of work after that). _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Actors Adam Beach (PBS' Skinwalkers) and Hayden Christensen (Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones) are producing a proposed film adaptation of the computer game Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, the Zap2it website reported. The game is also the basis of a series of comics.
The film will be "a new Turok, where he's a college student," Beach told the site. "His uncle has died, and he learns about the responsibilities of a Turok and jumps into it when his family is threatened. A Turok is a warrior who is the protector of Earth from other dimensions. It's a place called the Lost World, and in that Lost World, they're trying to defeat the one enemy who wants to consume all of the worlds. Turok is the warrior on Earth who is fighting these people. His duty is to get these dinosaur beings and send them back to their own world." |
