Not me. I'm in the "DBZ should have ended at Cell" camp.
Although the "Great Saiyaman" arc was an amusing homage to "Superboy". |
Same camp here. Only there are some diehards who wanted it to end at Frienza.
The Cell Saga was basically as far as they could push it without going overboard. Afterwards it felt like they were just making up crap as the went.
The relationship between 18 and Krillin, the bringing back of all the old characters and the final battle with Gohan finnaly taking the place of his father seemed to be the most real ending DBZ ever had. I'm not gonna lie though and say that I did not enjoy and of the episodes afterwards. Small arcs like the Saiyaman, the Otherworld Tournament, and the tournament right before Buu were all meh but watchable.
I think the day I said "okay this is getting dumb" was after Vegeta killed himself to destroy Buu. They put so much feeling into that episode only to complete dissapoint the viewer and no episode afterward evoked that much emotion. Afterwards I frankly didn't care who died or wtf happened to them anymore. That's when DBZ died for me. _________________ Bang. |

The part I hate in DBZ is when they made Gohan grow up too fast. After he beat Cell he should've stayed a child for a couple of years. The good thing about that was the Great Saiyaman. That was funny. It was like Gohan was admiring the Ginyu Forces' poses on Namek all along. _________________ "Charles Xaiver did more for mutants than you could ever know. Who would've known? Before seeing the Saiyaman in action I would have never known Gohan actually was inspired by the Ginyu Force. I agree, it was funny, and it would've been even funnier to see it made into a show. _________________ "One Piece may seem like a pirate show, but it's really a life show. Think about it." My favorite moment in DBZ was when Goku and Majin Vegeta fought. That was the best fight I've ever seen in an animated show!! Those two were really going at it! _________________ "Charles Xaiver did more for mutants than you could ever know.
