Toonami has got to get InuYasha, it has been dropped by Adult Swim and if they act quickly, they may be able to grab it. Adult Swim won't care, Toonami got AS's best cartoon ((I am of course talking about Yu-Yu Hakusho)) and they didn't give a rat's a**!!!!. This could be Toonami's chance to get the appeal it so desperately needs, I mean Williams Street has given us nothing big or creative, the only reason they are not making anything good because WS is think about how much money it's making from adverts and sponsors.

I am not trying to be a jerk but I just care about Toonami's future. I am sorry for imposing on whatever you have been doing.

Thank you for your time.

Yours Truly,

I've been saying for like, forever, that Inu-Yasha should be on Toonami. But you need to trade a show. Ruroni Kenshin seems like the obvious candidate.

But wait, Inu-Yasha's only temorarily off Adult Swim. So forget it.

You act as if both blocks aren't made by the EXACT SAME PEOPLE. It's not like their's anything more than arguments over which block should get which show. And I would actually watch Kenshin if they censored it a little less. I wonder what WS would have to do to Inu Yasha to make it Toonami appropriate. And please don't say YYH was ASs best show--that just makes me cringe. I'd say Bebop or 08th MS Team. Maybe even some of the other older ones, but NOT YYH.

Inuyasha dropped by AS? Since when? It's their current #1 ratings-getter. There are new episodes coming August 25. Take one good look at the adultswim.com boards and tell me if it's been dropped. There are way too many people bickering about them replacing it with Big O until August on the adultswim.com BBS. Do your homework. ^_^

More than likely Inu Yasha went on hiatus and will be back on the air when they recieve their new episodes. You really can't except them to keep all their series running 4 days a week all year round can you? They only have so much time they can air things.

Personally if I were doing AS's programming I'd have much more weekly programming. Shows would last much longer if they were only once a week. It works for the major networks, why couldn't it work for CN? Especially if they have enough programming to pull it off. Besides it would bring in more variety to the block (I also think Toonami should do the same).

Speaking of program length, it makes no sense to me why they would show .hack only once a week, and FLCL four times a week, since .hack is 29 episodes and FLCL is only 6. ^_^

it's already been said but it's worth repeating:

"williams street did NOT drop inuyasha"

...they plan to continue with new episodes come august, but with big o's premiere, not to mention august's other acquisitions (blue gender, flcl), they gotta make room for the influx of new stuff...kikaider's just beginning run number 2, trigun's still fairly new, and lupin's...well who honestly watches the 130am show anyway? (alright, you got me there...)

besides, inuyasha's been airing since it's premiere last august, so of all the shows it was easily the best candidate to take a break from television...it'll be back soon, so just be patient...

Bloody, bloody hell . . .

I'm locking this. I just am. For one, bloody, reason. Adult Swim did not 'drop' Inu Yasha. Toonami cannot 'pick it up'. Cartoon Network owns the rights, and as such could show it any damn time it pleases, on any damn block it owns. Stop thinking of them as different entities. The formats are different so as to a) dissasociate Toonami from Adult Swim, since Toonami is for kids-teens, and AS is for a more adult audience and b) to prevent Cartoon Network from becoming Toonami Network. SVES, AS, Toonami, they're all based on the same principle: Cartoons appeal to all people, cartoons are cool.

For the last bloody time, they aren't different entities. They are one in the same.

ALSO, read the news. This is a news site, read, the, news, on, the, front, page. And in the news threads. We've known about the new IY eps for quite some time, we've known about it being taken off to make room for Big O, and we've known for quite some time that it'll be back. Unless you know what you're talking about, don't talk.

And it is thanks to our newsmonkeys Knuxfive, Daikun, and especially Spookmonkey that we know all this. Either read the news, or don't act infromed. You can't both ignore the news, and act like you know what's going on. It doesn't work that way.

Spook, if you have anything you'd like to add, feel free. Otherwis, this topic is dead.
