On Thanksgiving TechTV started airing commercials for their new anime block which they are calling "Anime Unleashed". The commecrial features Serial Expierments Lain, Crest of the Stars and Betterman. While the commercial says "Coming Soon," it was announced on "The Screen Savers" a week ago that Anime would come to TechTV as of December 30th. Thans to Kris Granhol for this info.
I can't believe I missed this. THIS IS FREAKIN GREAT. It's pretty obvious why they chose Lain and the others since they have the most to do with Tech while not delving into Mech.

Still, it's too bad that they don't have .hack//sign ... That would be perfect for TechTV. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

Can they show Ghost in the Shell on TechTV? They'd have to do a lot of editing if it were required.
I get TechTV on my satellite dish on Satellite C4, Transponder 12, and it's not even encrypted.
Free anime is good.
Uncut, free anime would be better.

If by preview you mean the trailer Bandai produced, keep in mind that Bandai trailers are designed to make you NOT want to watch their shows.
As far as what it's about, I have been pondering how to answer that question for about 5 hours, off and on. Even the online reviewers I googled couldn't really describe it well. But about the best I can come up with is a "creepy sci-fi horror mecha" show. There's a definite "X-Files" style mystery element to the show that just keeps drawing me in. Hey, I'm back! Anyway, TechTV is a quality channel and with anime, it is far better.
