Has anyone here been watching the Aa! Megumi-Sama tv series currently airing? I have a bit I'd like to discuss about it, for example episode 21's early appearance of Celestine and such. (Even if such an appearance was only in silhouette.
And no, the fact that Celestine exists this early in the story is not a spoiler. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

I watched part of episode one. I didn't really get into it so i decided to waste harddrive space on more obscure gundam titles. I'll have to catch up on this one though.
Key question: what is the degree of fanservice seen in this series? |

I've been watching it. Kinda seems like a primetime dramedy. As I haven't read the manga or seen the movie (despite the fact that it's been lying around my house on a CD for the past three years) I have no idea what you're getting at Bono.
Fan service level- almost none. Therefore, not something for Paperboy. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

I have been watching it. Well I just need to watch the last 3-4 eps. And who needs fanservice when you have Belldandy and Urd? _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." - Calvin

Yes but a naked belldandy or urd only adds to it. |

The fanservice is pretty low. If you've read the manga, it's equivelant. A suggestive camera angle and something to get Keichi called a pervert every episode or two.
Though if anyone reads the manga, the fanservice level has really stepped up since about chapter 190. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

Those whores! They should've begged the AnimeEigo crew to voice it. Hell they wanted to voice it. They woul've barely had to pay them. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

Since the US release has caught up to this point, I'd just like to point out that it's not Celestine in that scene. It's The Almighty (aka the girls' father).
Anybody who's been following the manga or the 2nd season should know who the other silhouette is. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I've been missing season 2
No one in my house is that interested and I haven't gotten the time.
I'll start it soon, hopefully before it gets licensed.
Can you pull up a screenshot for me? I totally forgot about this whole line of discussion. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

Sure. The situation is Urd remembering when she was first reunited/introduced to her heavenly family:
For comparison, a Googled image of Celestine:
Notice the hairlines don't match. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

From here:
(Mike Baliff): "...And then there's the second season of Ah! My Goddess. We're pretty excited about that one. It already has a built-in fanbase, and there's nowhere to go but up. It's one of the best-known franchises in manga or anime. Broadening the audience even further makes Ah! My Goddess a fun challenge. We're really looking forward to it.
(ANN): Are you confirming that ADV Films has licensed Ah! My Goddess Second Season?
(Mike Baliff): Yes.
(ANN): This is a property that's been handled by three different companies before ADV licensed it. What steps are you taking if any to provide some continuity between the Media Blasters release and ADV's? Are you planning on getting the same voice cast?
(Mike Baliff): Well we like the show, so we'd prefer as much continuity as possible. However, it's still a little early to say how many of the Season One cast or crew are going to be available for Season Two. Stay tuned!
(ANN): What are the primary factors in deciding to license a show like Ah! My Goddess? Is it considered a no-brainer because it's a well-known title, or are there other factors?
(Mike Baliff): It's the quality of the show that makes it a no-brainer. And then there's the challenge I alluded to earlier: How can ADV broaden the audience for a title that's so well-known and beloved by so many fans? The content is perfect, so our attention will be focused on the sales and marketing. I'm looking forward to it! _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis
