Have you ever had one of those days where you went to a theater/video store, paid almost $10 to watch a movie that you've been waiting forever for and expecting it to be really good (thanks to the previews), and in the end, it turns out to be the biggest pile of crap you ever laid eyes on? Yeah, we've all had those. Then, after you wake up from the nap you had after taking 20 NyQuils to ease the pain Hollywood just gave you, you ask yourself one question: "Jesus, who made this movie?!? Did a 5-year-old write the script?"
It turns out that the truth is more of a reality than we thought.............
Quote:
Robert Rodriguez, director of Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, told Sci Fi Wire that he is developing a second 3-D film with a new collaborator—his 5-year-old son, Racer. "There was a story my son and I had been working on just for fun, and we'd been doing drawings just to encourage storytelling," Rodriguez said while promoting the DVD release of Spy Kids 3-D. "I said, 'Hey, guess what, we're selling this.'"
Though Dimension Films was at first resistant when Rodriguez proposed the 3-D format for the third installment of his Spy Kids franchise, the film's success prompted the distributor to approach him for a second film using the same technology. "They actually called me and said, 'Do you want to do another 3-D movie?' I said, 'Yeah, that was a lot of fun. I think we'd do pretty well. Sure.'"
Rodriguez is currently writing the script, which he describes as a family-oriented fantasy, along with his son. He expects to be shooting it later this year. "It's really out there, because it came mostly from my son," Rodriguez said. "I told him, 'We just sold that idea. That's the first idea you've sold.' It's going to say, 'From the creator of Spy Kids and Racer Rodriguez.' He looked at me and went, 'That sounds good.'"
Not only is that rad, but it gives me hope that one day I can sell a movie.

I'm smarter than MJ. Plus, I got a elementary school, a rec center, and a soccer field in my neighbothood. Plenty of places and opportunities to do it.

Or you could, I don't know, meet a nice girl, settle down, and wait 5 years and 9 months. Plus you could trian him and mold him and shape him. Damn man, I want to meet Spook's offspring. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Andro- Monkey, that doesn't really work out the way you want with kids... especially the tikes. I know that for a fact with all twenty of my nieces and nephews, who are all under the age of six and a metal terror to be with.I see no child prodigy in the pack... except a hot dog eating champion.
Let's see I've been peed on, kicked at,and to round it off they randomly demolish a video store... nope I think to top it off was when I lost one in the grocery store during thanksgiving rush, but anyway they still don't worship me above all. So don't give me that, cause I'll gladly give you one of mine! _________________ Tan simple y tan sencillo como eso, el mundo apesta! -inguesu

Do any of them have a name like Racer though? Because I'll probably need that one if there is.
