Wait, who says this is the last episode? They gave us 42 episodes last year, and then 10 this year? I highly doubt that, espceiclaly for such a demanded show. So I'd like to know your sources for this 'last episode' deal. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Starts over again from episode 37 Monday...and CN's original agreement was for 52 episodes.
It will probably be extended to include the rest of the show soon... _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

if i remember right, much of the series is still in the dubbing process, so in a way it really can't be continued right now...
of course, cartoon network could've just carried over their "season 1" cliffhanger until next year when they're expected to get more episodes, so i personally didn't mind the shorter season 2... _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

oh and i'll put the sango/moroku thing to rest. As of late (late = episode 123) nothing has been revealed to hint that they are kagome's ancestors. As far as them liking each other... well sango doesn't mind the molesting as much. haha now you have to wait till the next AS run of inuyasha to find out!

Actually, Sango and Muroku being Kagome's parents already HAS been hinted to. Muroku is a priest, and that is hereditary, or so it would seem. And they do spend a lot of time near the scared well and the sacred tree. So I think there is a lot of foreshadowing.
I'm just glad Muroku is finally using priest skills. He can actually do stuff without his wind tunnel. I was impressed. _________________ anime is teh s uck

I'm not saying I don't trust you. I'm just saying that it already IS foreshadowed. Usually, foreshadowing isn't screamed at you. And even if they never DO resolve it, the possibilty still remains. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Not on topic, but does anyone know who Inu-Yasha faja is?
(Faja as in father)
I just started watching it. It's good, but I've seen better. _________________ I shake like a toothache,

CP is right about Inu Yasha being very forshadowed but in some ways that is what makes people what to watch. Tell me if you didn't expect to see Inu Yasha's dream of becoming a full demon shattered by some self revelation later in the series at some point after seeing only a few eps. _________________ To do two things at once is to do neither. —Publilius Syrus, Roman slave, first century B.C.

About Sango and Miroku being Kagome's ancestors: It is possible, it is something Takahashi would do.

Notice, however, that in the normal course of events--without Kagome-- Sango and Miroku probably would never have spent any, if at all, time at the sacred well and Goshinboku. Miroku may have stumbled upon the village in the course of his wanderings, or Sango may have been called upon to exgterminate a demon in the village-- since this was before Kagome the jewel wouldn't have been shattered; at the same time, Kikyou would have been there, so she would have been the one killing demons and all--but besides all that, it is improbable Sango and Miroku would have even met.
This implies that by Kagome coming back to the Fuedal Era, she has in fact changed history--which she has, considering she broke the Shikon no Tama and all--but you are also suggesting that through her trip down the well, she has changed her entire geneaology. Since Kagome was already...established...at the time she went down the well, I find it hard to accept that she went to the Fuedal Era and changed her ancestry.
Also, consider this version of the Grandfather Paradox: All those times that Miroku sucked in the saimyoushou, remember, he was poisoned and all, and close to death. If Miroku had, without the aid of modern medicine, in fact died, then Miroku cannot be Kagome's ancestor.
The entire thing is rather circular. Kagome, by saving Miroku with her medicines, may in fact be preserving her ancestry. But that would mean the entire thing--going down the well, shattering the Shikon jewel--was pre-planned from the start by some sort of "higher being"...
--Asha, with too much time on her hands to be contemplating this, but thinking that Inuyasha on the whole is a rather good show; noting that the manga is still continuing; and mad at AS for cancelling it.

1.Uh AS didn't cancel it.
2. Inuyasha's father was a full youki and apparently a big BIG ass demon.
3. stop talking about the sango/moroku paradox! Geez i'm gonna throw up!
