Post subject: I'm a Programming newbie, and I need help

Okay, so i'm taking C++ and Java this semester in the futile attempt to get my Programming associate's(in my 4th of unknown amount of semesters...don't ask) and well....the work is piling up fast. Not only the fact that I only have one time to talk to the instructor, but he only uses half the time given to even explain both different languages for the week.
Now I go to class every Wednesday night from 6-10 pm, that means he talks about both usually from 6-8, that's 1 hour a week for an entire programming lanquge.....that's...not...enough. So here I sit at my laptop crying for help from those more knowledgable in said subjects to help me complete these two courses of insanity. 
Doug has tried helping me...but he's too busy with sleep, tv, class, and nooners....

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |

I'd help, but I'm only beginning C++ myself, and I use Doug as a resource. Of course, I also have hte help of an upper classmen that took the class last semester, and a friend in programming school. Combine three resources like that, and I'm set. My advice, is to try and make friends with someone that knows more than you.
I guess that's what you're doing here . . .
But anyway, I'd offer my services, but I'm just learning the stuff myself. If you have any general questions, I might be able to answer them.

Ugh, falling behind in both classes. Need help badly.... I don't care if i sound like i'm begging, but I just don't understand these fucking languages....

I took a partially-web-based C++ class this semester.
I dropped it after a few weeks once I learned that I had absolutely no grasp of it.
Give me bash scripting any day.

FDD, if you're really in a pinch, you can IM me. I'm ususally on most nights doing my own c++ (or physics or math . . . ) and if I don't know the answer to your quesitons, there's a decent (75%) chance I can find it out for you.

c++ isn't really the problem as I already had a semester of it last year....it's this damn java that's pissing me off....

Java's not too hard unless your teacher is forcing you to hand code a complex user interface.

Sorry, I've naver taken Java. I've done Visual Basic and now C++, and plan on learning PHP and that will, hopefully, be enough coding knowledge to get me through life.
Of course, nwo that I said that, it won't be. ^_^

UPDATE...
Less than a month to go in the semester and i'm still behind -_-. I'd ask for help, but for that, I would have to at least somewhat understand what I need help with...well...right now...it's everything. I slack off on the work because I don't know how to do it, but when it gets to actual work time I still don't know how to do it and just wallow in pity in the corner at my lack of skillz.
So, someone with at least some knowledge in Java or C++ contact me somehow, I am in dire need of assistance for these last few weeks.
