Has anyone seen the Energon toys yet?

Alright saw my first episode saturday night. It wasnt that bad. They didnt really kill any history of the characters i know and love. The animation, when not moving, was nice to look at. Althought they need to work on slowing down the transitions from forward to running away. It looks like they dont have any of the animation made up to turn a character. They could work on making Iron Hide or Hot Shots running look a little more fluid as well. I did like the scale making them feel that much larger then human. There was also the fact that when Kicker, wearing the best Macross flight suit since.. macross, was in Jetfire. That when the cockpit opens they didnt draw the reflections on it. But im being nitpicky. I didnt see the opening episodes to understand the two autobots who dont want to fight who create the special energon. I dont understand why the decepticons from Armada are now good guys. But hey they did say they werent the good guys outright. So it works to on some level. Im not sure about the new unicorn. But i think i might give this show some time. I did notice that most of the voices from Armada are used in the new city. Oh and, just curious, why isnt "Cybertron City" just good old Metroplex? I did appreciate the nods to the past in things like the Space Bridge. Which was a key part of the old plots. But their using it like the warp thing in Armada. Instead of it needing a second part of the bridge as in the original show.

Just one geeks opinion

So far, I like Energon. As for the toys, they look nice. Some of the people on Seibertron.com's forum were bugged by E-Optimus's bulk in robot mode, but that's not a concern of mine.

But Energon didn't change anything in transformers except for the animation. I mean there are no revolutionary changes of TYransformers(not even in toys). Well...yet.
