Cello.
Yes, it's a common custom amoung musicians to name their instruments though I've rarely (meaning never) done it. Assist me in that inane yet occasionally helpful way you do.

Except you don't name objects with masculine names, objects (especially when owned by a guy) are feminine no matter how large and unweilding.
