I'd have to say Zorndyke as the best villain. He's the kind of complex character that makes stories that much more interesting. A well-developed villian (and no I'm not talking about Queen Beryl, perverts) makes for the absolute best character, especially ones that mess with your head and emotions (read Milton's "Paradise Lost" sometime and you will never look at Lucifer the same way again). _________________ Rycel's Death Count on this board: 7

Vicious is the only true choice here. |
I shall from now until forever look down upon you. Vicious was missing the most serious part of a villain: motivation (well, that and development, but motivation would've given him development. Giving a vague, static, antithesis to Spike was the worst mistake in the entire series. I would argue that he should've been taken out of the pool to make way for someone else, like say, the McDougal Brothers (or were they mentioned?).
Treize Kushrenada is by far the best choice for me, however. He used what people percieved were bad intentions to do good, and be good. He was awesome. Something everyone should realize for a beleivable bad guy-- he either has to be 1) Certifiable (the Joker, for example), 2) Covertly a good guy (Trieze) and thus really cool, or 3) Think he/she's a good guy (Achilles from the Ender's Shadow trilogy-- hey, it was the best example I could think of). _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

I have to disagree. After watching Blue Sub may a times, i have to say that Zorndyke isn't a villain, but a visionarie. He did what he did for a better, newer world. He wasn't in it for power or wealth, like most villains of thw woprld today. He destoryed the population in hopes of a rebirth that was much needed. If anyone is a villain in that movie, i have to say that it is man him is the villian against man... _________________ Those that lack leadership ability should leave the room and make way for those that have.

zorndyke is a villian due to his opposition and secrecy from the rest of humanity. he isn't the traditional villain, yes, but he still is one, you remember what a reluctanyt hero is? well he's a reluctant villain. he knows he has to play the part even though in his heart he isn't one. _________________ "Veni. Just to give my two cents...
I'd say vicious and Kagato(OAV)
Vicious-I think he was meant to be dull and not have much character developement. It sort've helped to set the mood of the show, and I think true villains truly can't feel the pain they inflict on others. Or maybe, they've had so much inner turmoil, they forgot how to express it...
Kagato-can't beat the organs....... j/k. I think he was pretty kool. He was original at the time, and, I think he kicked butt. lol |

Joker rules them all... He is definately my favorite villian of all time. Mostly for his sadistic sense of humor. And this...*Does impersonation of the sadistic joker laugh* _________________ *Floats by on a cloud* |

I voted vicious because he's badass, but not for his villian-ness.
now that io think about it,
Zorndyke would be a much better choice beause of his reluctant-ness.

I pick other. Ghiren Zabi. In my belief, anyone who acts like Hitler is instantly more evil than someone like Skeletor. |

How could you not vote for Mumm-Ra?!? His powers come from the friggin' Ancient Spirits of Evil!! Sheesh...
I admit, I wanted to put up sooooo many more badguys on this poll, but I wasn't given the option... * glares evilly at Tyler, whom he blames for everything the tiniest bit wrong with the board for no good reason* _________________ "The principles you live by create the world you live in; if you change the principles you live by, you will change your world." -Blaine Lee

I picked The Joker because you never know what he'll do next.
Vicious: always wants to kill Spike.
Kagato: always wants to rule the universe.
The Joker: does he want money? Does he just want to kill people? Does he just want to make us laugh? The Joker's creative genius makes him better than the average villain. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."
