You might mention that the 1 AM showing of Justice League is in wide-screen, for those who deem it important... _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

well, nobu proved that people do actually read these things, so that means i'm not going to put up a "fake" schedule to see if i get any reaction anytime soon (and i really wanted to put up an all-week "reign" marathon too..)
anyway, schedule's quiet on all fronts this week, but a little too quiet on thursday, where thanksgiving stuff is scheduled over the toonami timeslot...interesting to note, that the iron giant marathon runs from the end of the toonami block friday to just before the sves block, so it won't disrupt either...

JJ,
We were told not to reply in schedule threads with general topic stuff. This is to show you that I to read this thread.
Fake one would have been funny. Mine would be the schedule changing every day and being completly different from each other. Using episode 10 from about 8 series. So you dont know what led up to that point, or how it will be resolved. With a little note "Subject to change without notice"

appreciate the words fodder, and i like the fake schedule... =)
anyway, while i was watching my dolphins win an ugly, ugly game of football last night, there were some black and white cards that aired on adult swim outlining williams streets' plans for next year...among the mostly comedy shows were the following:
"Witch Hunter Robin" is a 'definite' for February
"Wolf's Rain" is a 'probable' for April
"Ghost in the Shell" is a 'probable' for July
...new inuyasha episodes weren't mentioned, but are basically a given for sometime in the first half of next year, so things are looking good for the adult swim block... _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

Witch Hunter Robin - http://www.witchhunteronline.com :
In a world where witches abuse their supernatural powers, a special team is tasked with hunting this new threat to society. This organization is known as the STN and comprises of several highly skilled craft users and experts in covert operations. But their most powerful craft user is a young woman named Robin. Her mysterious gift to summon deadly flames will determine the fates of her colleagues and lead her into a dark world of mystique and witchcraft!
Wolf's Rain - http://www.wolfs-rain.com/ (Japanese):
In some distant future, it's common knowledge that all wolves have been extinct for 200 years. However, it seems this is false as wolves have not disappeared but rather have taken human form. Kiba, a lone wolf, wanders into a city, trying to sniff out the Lunar Flowers that are supposed to lead whoever follows the scent to paradise. The source of the smell is Cheza, a girl who sleeps in what appears to be suspended animation in a lab. She and the wolves are drawn to each other, and Kiba hopes to find paradise once he finds the source of the scent of Lunar Flowers. However, once Kiba finds Cheza, she is kidnapped by a mysterious person called Darcia, and his search begins anew. Before he leaves the city, he meets 3 other wolves, Tsume, Hige and Toboe. All four wolves have very different personalities and ideas, and their friendliness towards each other is a little rough around the edges. However, they soon band together to continue to search for paradise.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - http://www.production-ig.com/Ghost_TV.html :
In the future, life between the digital and physical world has been blurred. The boundary of technology and humanity has been stretched beyond imagination with lives being led in both the electronic and physical worlds. With the melding of man and machine – a new cybernetic level of existence is being created - An existence that continues to redefine mankind.
Venture Brothers:
Hank and Dean Venture, with their father Doctor Venture and faithful bodyguard Brock Samson, go on wild adventures facing megalomaniacs, zombies, and suspicious ninjas, all for the glory of adventure. Or something like that. Hank and Dean Venture are relatively identical twins, only born six minutes apart, who live for the thrill of adventure. Their dated vocabulary and high-pitched voices are intentionally annoying, especially to their father, Doctor Venture, a boy genius turned mediocre scientist who hates everything about his life. In the midst of this conflict is Brock Samson, a man of swift neck-breaking action. Preferring to resort to his brawn instead of his brain, Brock is simple but effective, and does a better job at taking care of the kids than Doctor Venture, as long as they leave his treasured Dodge Charger alone.
Sweet J - http://smw.internet.com/video/docs/sweetj/index.html :
A stop-motion series from the mind of Seth Green starring GI-Joes, Transformers, and other action figures. The animation was done by people from MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch and others from Cartoon Network's Fred Flintstone Claymation project.
Squidbillies
Not too much known on this yet, but we'll let you know when we get some information on it.
Tom Goes to the Mayor - http://www.timanderic.com
Again, not much known on this as a series, but you can download the original short from the official Tom and Eric site here! It's about 3/4 of the way down the page.

Post subject: Toonami and Adult Swim Schedules
On Adult Swim they have a lot of reruns of Futurama and Family Guy It seems that Adult Swim is slowly getting worese. All the good shows are late at night on Sunday-Thursday. A year ago they had anime(Stuff like Yuyu Hakusho and Inuyasha) on Saturdays and the funnies(Stuff like Family guy and Futurama) on Sundays. I miss A LOT of anime on Adult Swim because it's late and I have to get up early to go to school.

wait, so you'd rather have three hours of action animation and three hours of comedy per week rather than the current system of nine hours of action animation and six hours of comedy? you should really just invest in a vcr and enjoy that fact that adult swim airs more than double the amount of time it aired this time last year...
onto this week's schedule...dragonball's final episode airs on monday, then the series starts the king piccolo saga over again...also this week, star wars: clone wars gets its time on toonami, listed at 6pm before transformers armada...
only thing worth noting on adult swim is big o's first season comes to an end on monday, but for those who didn't know, tuesday will go right into season two for it's first weekday run...

cutting it a bit close this week...
toonami's looking the same as expected, with episodes 5-10 of clone wars running before transformers...bebop returns for its 13th or so run on adult swim, taking blue gender's spot at 1...finally, the usual hour-long justice league on saturday is only running a half hour, as what looks like a holiday-related batman is scheduled for 1030 and 130...

better early than never, right?
with clone wars done, toonami returns to its regular state, so those like me who tape shows don't have to worry about everything being pushed back five minutes...adult swim stays the same, and sves goes back to the usual hour-long justice league, reverting to its state two weeks ago...

hard to believe we're approaching the end of 2003...toonami presented its new look, adult swim went weeknights, changing its look twice throughout the year, and the void left on saturday would become the sves block it is now...
off the top of my head, 2003 brought us kenshin, lupin, .hack, trigun, reign, blue gender, dbgt, and flcl, as well as new episodes of yu yu, inuyasha, dragonball, dbz, and big o...2004's already looking good, with witch hunter robin, as well as more yu yu and inuyasha just over the horizon...
with christmas during the week, toonami gets two days chopped off of its weekday run, as wednesday and thursday are pre-empted for christmas specials...adult swim's final sunday in december is reserved as a "viewer's choice" night, and the action animation is represented by inuyasha and big o...
