I think I can safely say I beat you all in beginning a DDR lifestyle. As a timekiller prom night the group I was with stopped to play minigolf... and I suck big wind at golf so I went to the arcade. Hehe, I met Mr. DDR machine... played for a half hour in my high heels and prom dress. Sure it was on easy, but gimme a break, it was my first time. Not only did I not fail out, but I kicked the shit outta my boyfriend and all sorts of people watched and whatnot... and then when I stepped off the machine my right heel snapped off. I'm more of a loser than anyone will ever be aware of.

I remember this one time I was at the arcade Dave & Busters and this big fat(probably drunk)guy was playing DDR. He fell over atleast 6 times and got a D. My friend who had never played the game got challenged by the guy but turned him down. In turn the man called him a pussy and he went up and put in his money. At the end my friend got a B and the guy got another D. We laughed at the guy and walked off.

Tips for new DDR players. You really need rythm to play this game.

No, you fool! That was Richard.
(Not really, but anyone here will get the joke.)
Remember, score isn't everything, and people tend to overinflate thier own sense of skill. If you ask yourself the question, "am I good?" and you haven't passed any 9 or 10 foot songs, the answer is most likely no.

I wish I knew what DDR games your referring to. Whats 7 feet? I've been playing DDRMAX2 and DDR Konamix for 2 months now and i've never heard of 7 feet.

Also, is 'Butterfly' in any of the USA DDR games?

gfpaperboy, either you're joking, or you're not up on the lingo. The number of feet you see for the song difficulty (located under the Groove Radar in Max2) is the standard system of measuring difficulty in a song. It's usually accurate--although there're sometimes songs that should count as one foot more or less.
