The "Anti-Smoking Manifesto Bra" comes with capsules containing lavender and jasmine fragrances mounted in the cleavage. These capsules had two purposes, said Triumph spokeswoman Megumi Ishii.
They were supposed to calm the nerves of people trying to quit.
And they were designed as aversion therapy for hardcore smokers as the fragrances made cigarettes taste unpleasant.
But it doesn't end there.
The surface material of the bra and underwear are coated with liquefied titanium oxide, a substance which could break down unpleasant smoke smells And if that fails, a pad attached to the Triumph bra could be used as a face mask in smoky bars.
The company has decorated the underwear with prominent no-smoking logos.
But don't go looking in the shops for this radical lingerie.
The company has developed the Anti-Smoking Manifesto Bra as a prototype. It has no plans yet for sale to the general public. |

But then the bra never comes off. Isn't the proper way to get rid of an addiction to get addicted to something better? Like say... I don't know--something involving taking that bra off?

Or a t-shirt that when it reacted with cigarette smoke smelled like puke and dung and rotting eggs . . . THAT would deter smoking . . . or one that started to burn your skin when smoke got on it. That would be fun to watch.

Then nobody would wear the shirt... if anything that shirt would make people smoke more to protest it.

| I find that soaking up the smoker's odors with my undergarments weird. Though, useful if your like the lady chain smoker totally out on a date. |
