I'm disappointed too. They moved it to Saturdays, but after the fright between Kenshin and Sishio, they began showing reruns Sad They should put Kenshin back on Toonami, and show new episodes. ^_^x

WAS THAT AN INSULT TO TOONAMI?! Good.

that wasn't an insult at all. They finally have enough action blocks to have them dedicated to certain age groups. Toonami is for around 8-12, SVES is for 10-14, and Adult Swim is for 14+. This allows them to put shows in wth other shows that certain age groups like. Until the ratings system we have gets an overhaul that is how things will be done. Althoguh I still think Toonami has the best packaging, SVES and AS is getting more shows that attract my attention and so that's what I'm watching more. We all know all this already. You won't find me bashing Toonami, did you really expect Toonami to grow up along with you?

Of course not, but I think it was fine before they put on the kiddy shows like SD Gundam. But, if interpreted as an insult, that comment was certainly a good insult. And, about the age groups, I suppose thats true. Its just that what bothers me is that it seems like CN expected adults to stop watching Tooonami when they put on AS, which isn't what happened. They made Toonami kiddier, which made older Toonami fans dissapointed. I, for one, expected AS to be an extra block to be enjoyed, rather than something created so they could air pathetic shows on Toonami. I mean, I still watch Toonami, but only one or two things on it. It really does seem to me that they made AS to allow stupidity to flow during the day.

I remember that a couple of years ago they were posting warnings before every show that people under 17 are not recommended to watch the sahow, and they listed possible reasons why(violence, gote etc.). TV 14 doesn't mean anything. An R rated movie could be TV 14. A PG-13 movie could be TV 14. The TV ratings suck.

R rated movie can not be rated TV-14, unless it is edited down to the standards. I agree the tv ratings mean nothing, I believe TV and videogames should just use the established rating system our good friend Jack invented for movies.

I'm pretty sure toonami was directed towards kids, but nerdy teens like me watch it hoping they'll air something less "kiddy". Even though GW was about five fifteen year olds, I thought the show was awesome. I'd really like to see them re-air it. Robotech was my favorite of the shows they carried and I'd have to say I'd like to see them bring that back more than anything.
