I read an iteresting article just now here. I'll put it here for the lazys:
Enix America, NO MORE - Articles
Posted by: Heretic at 08:04 AM on 02-01-2003 - Source: Gamers
Enix America is no more. After a mass amount of talent, apparently, the entire American operation has been closed.
The merger of the two RPG tyrants, Enix and Square, which was recently off and back on again, is the source of blame. Squaresoft will assume all publishing duties for Enix titles in America.
When comments were needed, Enix America spokesperson Justin Lucas only quotes lines from the movie Office Space, on this, his final day.
"And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit," said Lucas. "And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire."
Uhm.. strange..!
http://www.enix.com/ doesn't work either. I didn't think this was big enough news to warrent it's own thread because it says that Square will take over EOA's publishing in North America.
EDIT:
Enix.com is working now, maybe I'm just impatient.

I'm hoping for the SNES II or NES II. The n64 thign at the bottom looks like a toaster and the Nexus makes me want to toss it on the ground and see if it bounces. _________________ Bang.

Planet Xbox wrote "We brought forth the harsh official word solidifying the fact that Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward wouldn’t be making its way to Xbox but this morning, in an announcement that’s sure to come as good news to Xbox fans disappointed by yesterday’s final confirmation, Interplay and Vivendi Universal Games have announced development of Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer for the Xbox. In development by High Voltage Software, Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer is based on the gothic world of White Wolf's pen and paper role-playing games, and adds an all-new character to the original four, as well as new areas, weapons, power ups, spells and combat moves. The game will also offer downloadable content via Xbox Live."

Sony has its Greatest Hits line and Nintendo has Player's Choice, but until now there was no official budget software line for Xbox games. This month, Microsoft will change that by placing a number of games under its new Xbox Platinum Hits line.
Games that make the list will sell for an estimated retail price of $19.99 and come in silver colored packaging, coming as a relief to Xbox owners who may be sick of the color green.
This is the complete list of games to join the Platinum Hits program this month; additional titles will follow over time. Unlike similar Nintendo and Sony programs, the list includes mostly third party titles.
Amped Freestyle Snowboarding (Microsoft Game Studios)

I still think the Nexus looks like it would make a good candy,
Any chance of a connectable ZeldaGCN/GBA game in the future? _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
