Post subject: EVA Question

Yes, I know there are TOO many EVA questions out there but here's one that has puzzled me:
When EVA Unit 00 (i.e Rei's if you can't remember) goes mad and starts to push out at the wall just before they fill the space with the fast setting liquid plastic, it looks like the EVA is trying to get someone in the control room, I'd like to know who you think, is it Gendo? Or maybe Rei herself?

I think that it is trying to get at Rei, all the Eva's have an impression of their pilot and because of the fact Unit 00 is the first functional constructed Eva it is pretty much a one person critter (only Rei seems to be able to use it).
It would seem like Rei's death wish got impressed onto Unit 00 and that could be why both times it attacks either the person responsible for it's creation and in the second time it tries to attack Rei herself, kind of acting on Rei's personality.
Looks like when Unit 00 self-destructed it got it's wish, can't say the same for Rei though.

*spoiler alert*
Each Eva Contains the "soul" of a human being. Unit 00 contains the soul of Ritsukos mother, unit 01 Shinjis Mother and unit 02 Asukas mother. Old Dr.Akagi (her first name is skipping my mind right now) if you have watched the show you know that she despises Gendo and Rei. This is why at two distinct events Unit 00 goes beserk trying to kill Gendo once and Rei another time.

Do you learn those after the series? Because at the end of the series they said that all the evas were using Rei's soul.
But then I could be wrong

Eva 01 - Yui's soul ----> in Rei?
Eva 02 - Asuka's mother's soul
Eva 00 - ?? (probably none. Rei has angel DNA and doesn't need it. Like the Last Angel guy)
Dr. Akagi's soul is in the computers her daughter manage. Each of the three represent her as a mother, as a NERV operative, and as a lover(ok, that last one is a guess, but she did have an affair with Gendo like her daughter).

The Magi are the computers you are talking about. I really liked the episoide where it showed all the notes the mother left to her daughter. Of course the one magi

Would be a pretty weak one judging by her past.
"Myself as a woman"
Would be the one as a lover of Gendo's. As well as many other things in implies
And the third wasnt her as a Nerv operative. I forget what it was. |

Thats right thanks. I don't know why I didnt remember that. I guess the point of the magi is to contradict itself constantly.
