Every year San Diego throws the biggest popular arts convention this side of... well pretty much the world. For the last several years Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animationhave been there in force. This year, they brought the big guns. Toonami and Adult Swim. There are at least ten (10) different panels that focus on them and several of their shows. On top of this, the three anime screening rooms will be showing various series from both blocks.

3:00-4:30 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe DVD Spotlight—The world of Eternia comes to San Diego, as animation legends discuss the classic 1980s series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and its upcoming DVD release from BCI Eclipse. Producer Lou Scheimer, voice actress Erika Scheimer, Emmy-award–winning writer J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5), directors and animators Tom Tataranowicz and Tom Sito, and DVD producer Jeff Hayne will share secrets about He-Man, Orko, Skeletor, Teela, and the creation of the enduring fan-favorite series.
