Ever seen Senshi on Springer AMV by Doki Doki? It pretty much sums up the show. SM was almost made for Springer.

I have over half of the manga as well as the last three seasons subbed and man... they fucked the dub WAY up... and hence they cannot dub the last season... how do you explain girls disguised as guys hitting on other girls in such a PC environment as the US?
A total load if you ask me... but I thought the idea of Haruka and Michiru as cousins was revolting...
Although... It would be funny to see what they turned all the inuendos into...

The inuendo was mostly intact in the dub. However the coverstory, being cousins, was pulled off to the nessary extent in the editing.

Don't worry, I still apreciate undedited goodness. I just think that as a fan editing is typicaly not as bad as we play it up to be. As conisurs of the show we see all but chances are you met the show in it's edited form and letting others see it edited is the first step in getting them hooked. (Some shows are an exception to that rule but it generaly applies)

| I want them to make reruns of Sailor Moon on Toonami, or show the final Sailor Star Saga on Adult Swim, but that won't Happen. The Sailor Star saga envolves guys turning into girls because of blahblahblah. That's kinda freaky. Anime Insider magazine put it on the top 10 anime series that will never make it to USA(even on limitewd edition DVD). |

we only have edited american DVDs in the UK, we only were shown 13 episodes and apparently it's the worst selling anime series in the UK...

Well you should just buy the new Season 1 and 2 boxsets they released. I'm considering that just to see what the original was like after all these years of the american bs.

the first season has all the eps shown in japan. the second season is missing an ep which is described as "inconsequential"
