Well, this is official word that Sara will be back in the Toonami universe, and there's an 11 minute "Episode 5". Sounds a lot better than the five one-minute-long blips we had before...
Toonami Total Immersion Event (name TBA)
Monday, September 15th - Friday, September 19th ET/PT
Toonami will roll out its fourth integrated on-air, on-line stunt. Tom and Sara will begin an adventure on-air through a series of one-minute interstitals Monday through Thursday, culminating in an 11 minute CGI adventure on Friday. Viewers will also be directed to an online game and a full-length comic expanding on the on-air story. Toonami will also premiere new episodes of Dragonball during the week.

They better let the game and the comic fall to absolute crap and kick my ass with kickass CG. Cuz if they don't, then the whole thing isn't worth doing. The 11 minute finale had better be worth it. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Even though I feel kinda skeptical about the 11-minute finalé thing, I agree about the CG. I hope the TV version has a decent plot this time. They haven't been very good about it the past couple of times. Also, as many have said before (which I agree), the Absolution II looks like a ship prepared for war. They should use some of the weapons on the ship, and the bad guys this time around should be a fleet of space pirates attacking the Absolution II. It could be still a series of still images for all I care. I want to sense of real interactivity and involvment that Indruder had. I want to affect how the event really turns out. I want to change something perminintly-- even if all it is is changing the engines designs again.

Williams Street, you guys have got to STEP UP!!!!! The Intruder was the only good Immersion event. It was edgy, suspenseful, short, but always surprising. Lockdown sucked and Trapped in Hyperspace was a disgrace, you guys don't even try do you? I llike you all, but you gotta put a little more effort, I mean what was with Hamtaro? A fat, little sunflower seed sucking rodent? ARE YOU KIDDING? You desperately need some new shows or else Adult Swin is gonna knock you all out. You might want to try and lengthen it a bit then mr. boom. But anyway, we have all noticed that Toonami is getting the short end of the stick when it comes to, well, pretty much everything int he last couple years.
But CN has new leaders with new visions of how the network should be. Time will only tell if they will push for Toonami to improve. If the news of the TIE is accurate, then I would have to say that, yes-- there is a future for Toonami.
