**spoiler**well you know cagalli & kira are twins but both of their parents are dead!! they were split up adopted by there parents freinds!! kira is the ultimate coordinater you find that ou in the next few eppisodes!!, cagalli is a normal coordinater but you don't find that out untill gundam seed destiny!! thats why she goes into seed mode!!**end spoiler**

Dude, what are you smoking? **spoiler** Nothing in Destiny hints that she is a Cordinator. The only thing that even hints that she maybe a cordinator is when she busts a seed toward the end of the original Seed.[/color]

***spoilerYa kno w Gundam Seed is one of the best Gundam series; but it's also one of the saddest Gundam series. Alot of people that are dear to the characters die so much. for example Flays Father died in battle, and then again Tohru dies, and again in the last episode Flay herself dies If ya kno the Gundam Seed series then you'll kno what i mean. But anyway its a great series dont forget to watch every sat morning at 1am only 9 episodes left enjoy!

No... Caggalli is a natural. Just because they are twins does not mean they both were tweaked to become Coordinators. Another case of this can been seen in the Gundam Seed Astray manga. Where one twin is a natural and the other was tweaked to become a Coordinators. Seed mode represents a heightened state of awareness, IMO, perhaps similar to the way people say things slow down when they are in a life or death situation.
Coordinators, with their enhancements, can attain it with training. Cagalli, a natural, only attains it once, as I understand it, in a situation of life or death.

...thought i'd dig this thread back up since there's only two weeks left, though i want to address something else...
its been thirteen months since gundam seed started airing on tv, and knowing the popularity of the series and the good reputation that followed it, i did all i could to avoid any and all major spoilers...it was a difficult thing to accomplish, since there's people on all corners of the 'net looking to reveal the bombshells, deaths, and such, but miraculously i got through unscathed, which has really been a positive as i can see why seed has been a favorite of those who'd already seen it...
why do i say all this? well yesterday i met up with a friend of mine who'd been a huge fan of the series, waiting (im)patiently over the last year as i watched the tv run so he'd have someone to discuss it with...he dug up the fansubs he watched the series through and we watched the last episodes, so while i'm going to watch tonight's and next week's televised episodes, i have now already seen what goes down...
anyway, the point of all this is that i want to thank the infolink community for keeping the majority of spoilerish info under wraps and allowing me (and others i'm sure) to completely enjoy the series to its fullest extent...in particular, i'd like to publically thank Chibi_Zero and AdmiralGreer, who both took the role of moderators for this thread...i truely appreciate what you both have done, so thank you! _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

Oh well, I'm glad you got to see this incredible series without having it ruined for you. And now that you've caught up and finished SEED, start watching Destiny so Greer and I can have someone else to talk to about it.

Well, let's have some chat about the next-to-last ep! If you see () in a post, highlight what's in it for Destiny-related analysis!
For me, the saddest moment was Mu's death, but in a way, you know that's how he'd want to go out if he died in combat - protecting his ship, his crewmates, and the woman he loved. (And it makes the scene later in Destiny with the two caps (if you've seen it, you know which scene I'm talking about) even more poignant. I want to see Murrue and Andy get together - they make a good couple, they respect each other, and they both deserve to be happy. )
More and more, Murrue has become my favorite female character in anime - she's strong, skilled, well trained and a professional, but every inch a woman. We need less bubbleheaded cuties, and more Murrues in anime! (And no, it has nothing to do with the fact that women in uniforms are very hot...well, it mostly has nothing to do with that fact...)
It's sad that Natarle took this long to realize what makes a good officer, and it's even sadder that she only realized in enough time to sacrifice herself for what was right. But she showed that in the end, honor and humanity trumps blind obedience for her, and that she could grow beyond the stiff-necked martinet she was initially.
(I had been debating whether or not Azrael was part of Logos, but after this episode, I'm leaning heavily on the "not" side. Azrael seems to buy the whole Blue Cosmos "kill all coordinators" rhetoric, while I see Dijibril as someone who uses Blue Cosmos to his advantage without really subscrbing to its beliefs. Which, to be honest, makes him a fuckload scarier. But Azrael was definatly a Logos pawn, if not a member of it.)
The Providence is scary, especially with the DRAGOON pods. And Le Creuset has pretty much lost whatever mind he had left by this point. Not a good combination.
