I noticed yesterday Tenchi has been taken off. What I would like to know is if anyone knows when it's going to be back on Toonami. o.o

A side note, I'm on about Toonami UK

The Toonami UK site isn't very good for show listings, infact is doesn;t show any! It doesn't even mention Tenchi on the site.

I would say just be happy you had Tenchi until now, we lost him years ago. I said "would" on account I'm not a tenchi fan.

Our website gives us a total of... nothing. I think only the endless adverts have actually been updated since the site was created. I checked the Sky Digital listings and all I have to say is CRAP! They've taken off the only He-Man time slot I can actually watch it without my dad walking in and standing there, chewing some food in that disgusting way where everyone in the room can hear him chewing, before complaining that He-Man is homoerotic porn.

And don't get me started on the fact that we've not got Series 2 yet... okay, got to get back on topic... um... oh yeah!

I'd just started taping Tenchi Muyo from the beginning, and my sister manages to force me off by whining to mum about how she wanted to watch the damn repeat of Most Haunted (all it is, is a group of people go around supposedly 'haunted' places and shine their torches on the walls and say 'Look! There's a ghostly orb!' and I go 'You morons! Do you honestly think anyone will be fooled by the light of your torches? LOOK! It even BENDS AROUND THE CHAIR CORNER!')

Crap... off topic slightly...

And because of my sister, I was unable to tape Tenchi Muyo that week, making my tape useless until it cycled round again. And now I find they've ripped Tenchi off ALTOGETHER!?!

RAGE!!!

The only problem with that solution is that Pioneer/Geneon doesn't distribute in the UK, so it's a little harder to find the discs.
Admittedly, amazon.co.uk has them available, but they're the US (Region 1 & NTSC) versions.

Steps for the growth of American anime industry:
1. Become cooler than Disney. (way complete)
2. Surpass European anime industry. (laughably easy, apparently)
3. Create national 24-hour anime TV stations. (in progress? *crosses fingers*)
4. TAKE OVER JAPAN!! (maniacal laughter)

well, considering ADV and Cartoon Network are now producing shows over in japan, one could very well say that step 4 is underway as well.
