I am sooooooooooo glad I get to graduate this year, and not have to be here next year. The best dean I've come across left us, so we have a new one, fresh from the Keebler factory. They're starting to expand the student population by 30-50%, and they're already taking most of the top students. AND the school district won't let us have stringent entrance requirements. You can get in if you have a 2.0 GPA. This year, they've had the worst vandalism ever (fortunately, nothing has been permanently broken -- yet.), and it's all coming from the influx of the ghetto kids. Several of the new teachers aren't very good, and a couple of good teachers are leaving. The new wing has a tendency to suck methane out of the sewer system. The principal (who was instrumental in the establishment and continuation of this otherwise great school) is retiring after this year, and the vice-principal (who is a bitchy control freak) will take over what little of the administration is left out of her control.
Yeah, my school is still a really good high school, but it's seriously going downhill, just like anything good in Vegas. I'm happy I can leave now, before the horrible freshman get any more numerous. _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.

Heh, kinda sounds like my school, good thing i'm graduating too. The only difference being that 80% of the students are spanglish speaking unintelligent mexicans*no offense ludwika or deelite*. Half of the teachers are leaving, and the other half I'm smarter than. Yeah I think that school was the only one that banned wearing blue, red, or brown clothing to supress gang activity, or to have a grafitti wall, with the sole purpose of tagging that up instead of the rest of the place. _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite.

So? My school has been around since the 1870's. But the maintanence men kick major ass so it's all spiffy. Age has nothing to do with it. (Doesn't hurt that it's a private school and it NEEDS to look nice in order for people to want to PAY to go there.)
I like my school. My Dean is the ONLY good dean in the school (lucked out majorly). My favorite teacher of all time left 2 years ago, but that's ok because I had already had him twice. I have exams middle of June. A lot of hte kids in my class suck. Seriously, we all say it, the senior and junior classes suck. There are so many jocks and assholes and sluts. Pisses us off. But I have a group of close friends that are all wicked cool so it's all good. My classes this year are getting worse as the year goes on, so I'm uber happy that there are only, about, 18 days left. I have 3 sucky classes IN A ROW. In fact, I have them IN A ROW FIRST THING MONDAY MONING 2 days from now. THAT'S gonna be a day from hell. Seriously all high schools are the same no matter where you are or when it was built. Some are slightly worse off some are slightly better... but not by that much. Students suck, kids suck, high school sucks. If you don't like the weather go to a college that is somewhere thats completely not where you are now. Like Dill, when you go to college come over to the states and go to somewhere like Arizona University. Its dry and hot which is exactly oposite of england. Now I'd rather go more intermediate than arizona but you get my point. Everything about High School is forced, college is your chance to change EVERYTHING. Actually, Central High School (where I go to) has some quirks that make it really 'super' compared to most schools.
A network of tunnels that connect it with the Aberdeen Underground and extend for about five or six blocks
The quad boiler rooms, each of them with copies of very famous painitngs stored in them.
The stained glass windows in the stairways and the terracota roof, with the addition of brass roof panels, and blood red bricks (that and the large brass covered doors) makes for a freaky ass school (it was made in 1910 as the centerpiece of the town, it was then displaced by our city hall, that's why it's covered in brass and stained glass)

Well, I'm only a Freshman, so I still have three years left. I recently just moved to Mays Landing, NJ. But I'm finishing my freshman year at Pleasantville High School. I'll be going to Oakcrest High School next year, though. Although, I hate Pleasantville, I still love it. My high school is full of assholes, smuts (as we "ghetto" suburban kids call them), and jocks, I still like it. It's weird, I have this love & hate relationship with Pleasantville, like many of the residents. I'm not looking forward to going at Oakcrest next year, I have a feeling I will severely hate it.

Next year, half of the underclassmen get to move to a new high school. Next year is my Junior Year. The congestion of the hallways will be gone! w00t!
Because of the freakish amount of snow days this year, school doesn't end until either June 19 or 20. Oy. And then on the 24th I'm taking a summer program. -_- _________________ "KUSANAGI!"

yeesh! the highschools in my area district must be lazy bitches who take every other day off or something because schools never get out here before june 15. never. aparently back in 2000 they even had them starting in august... either than you you guys start much earlier, when I was in HS we started early september. _________________ "Veni.
