Thank god Funimation will be responsible for Naruto and not 4kids. Funi has regained all respect I had for them with their recent releases. Nowadays when you hear a series has been liscensed by Funi you don'y immediately run for the nearest sword to commit seppuku with.
Yu Yu Hakusho: After watching both the japanese and english voices I like the dub and it fits the characters almost perfectly. The action is not highly edited thanks to it's inital run on AS and are only used with an excess of blood. The music while not in it's original language is still http://avchat.saramnet.com/voicechat.swf?appInstance=asianfanaticsradio
Blue Gender was awesomely violent even with a large majority of edits including most of the sexual innuendo, though the main characters voice was slightly whiny and annoying, but I think his massive sideburns lended to that.
FMA: I can find nothing wrong with the treatment of this show. Nothing has been spoiled or ruined and even the opening have been left untouched. The voices are well chosen and rehearsed you can tell the care that went into the dub considering they have a real 12 year old doing the voice of a character.
From now on we have to expect that if a series is light on violence and sex enough to be edited down to a kiddie standard than 4kids will most likely go after it and bum rape it.

You mean Viz Media, not FUNi.
So the jury's still out, and hopefully it'll turn out more like Inuyasha than Zatch Bell...

I thought most of it was good. I havent fiqured out the reference with the pants wearing bleach and the big sword though. What is it?
The titans one is funnier if you've seen the original characters and comics. The only character who went from the comic to the show pretty much untouched is Beast Boy. |

That's a reference to the anime....Bleach...yes there is an anime with a title like that. Don't ask me what it's about, as i'm sure someone is always getting the latest fansub *coughpaperboycough*.

Bleach is a very good anime, some say the next Naruto. I saw it in my anime club and it definitely wasn't boring.
