oh, so much to say...

1) they're showing Rurouni Kenshin on TV?!!! and you live in San Antonio like Kero...er...Ludwika? I'm freakin like 70 miles away from you and I ain't getting it Sad <sob sob> I have to buy the freakin series in installments and skip lunch, like the poor college student I am

2) Tenchi Muyo!, like Nobi-baby says, goes without saying

3) Excel Saga is like crack on crack - funniest series/show/thing I've ever seen

4) Love Hina is awesome, maybe my second fav series behind Tenchi - but someone (was it Fata?) convinced me that it shouldn't be aired here in the U.S.; her reason was that it was too "Guy accidently grabs girl, lots of flesh shown, hillarity ensues"-plot to be shown to a population that still doesn't know much about anime; that's true I think - but more than anything, I think that since it has the worst dub EVER (and Chibi Zero can attest to this), it should never be shown in the U.S....unless that anime channel or whatever does intend to show dubs AND subs

5) Rurouni Kenshin is all I'm thinking about at the moment, so that would be my answer to the question Smile

Kenshin needs to hit some sort of channel out here... I still haven't had a chance to see any of it.

I bought the Outlaw Star DVD's in their entirety. If you're an Ebayer check out the seller "animehits". I got OS from him for like $40 (including shipping). That's the whole series- dubbed subbed and uncut. He has a bunch of series including Inu Yasha and Cowboy Bebop. They even come with a nifty folding case!

Anyway... on to my favorites:
1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Outlaw Star
3. Excel Saga
4. Akira
5. 08th MS Team
6. Gundam X

I haven't seen all of MSGundam yet, so I can't really say how much I like it, and I might buy Trigun from that animehits guy.

Hmm, let's see. My favorite anime series is definitely The Big O. It has got to be one of the most engrossing pieces of anime I have ever seen.

i do like Nadesico but i've only seen half, and i also like Vandread but i've only seen half!! I love Cowboy Bebop. I'm surprised no one's mentionaed it. Cowboy Bebop is my all time fav. Music , story, characters. animation, the works! I salute you CB, I will forever be a fan. Trigun was also very good. And they've pissed me off with DBZ too much to be on my top list but it's still up there. I only saw the Ah! My Goddess Movie and the Escaflowne movie. Akira is also spectacular. And Evangelion is classic. Kenshin was also superb.

peace

THe only thing about Inu Yasha is that , i'm estimating, only about 30 or so eps will be shown if not less. It just recently finished in Japan so, it ain't comin for a while. I wish i could watch ASA. Mad Crying or Very sad

My other favorites in anime include Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Gatchaman, Nadesico, and Gundam(particularly MGS and G-Gundam). But my #1 favorite has got to be, without a doubt, Bubblegum Crisis. Smile

But, I don't live in San Antonio...Wika does, not now but she does! Anyway the Cartoon Network where I live use to show it. But not to rave comments, due to a little light hearted editing.

DBZ. *sigh* I'm obsessed and hopelessly addicted.
Gundam and Bebop in second.
Trigun, Escaflowne, Yu Yu, Kenshin, and Macross after that. I need to see Eva.

I can't believe so many people here like the Love Hina anime and The Big-O. Disturbing...
