well i added another layer in flash that was just a black square, at the end of the slash i faded it in and then faded it out to a super huge copy of the first frame which i zoomed back to normal... if that makes any sense... ripping it from the two different vid clips was a pain in the butt though...

Macromedia and Apple have kinda work hand in hand, you can open/embed flash into .mov files, and you can import mov files into flash it was pretty easy just download the latest version of flash and import away.

Shh don't reveal our secrets you f00l!
But ya. Doug uses the flash compression while I use another program made by Jasc. Both work fine and you can import quite a few file formats. For mov though you need flash which I don't use very much.
