"'cow tipping' is a classic American Mid-Western pastime that involves clandestinely sneaking up on a sleeping cow and slamming your weight into it until it tips over and falls (yes, cows sleep standing up). This is particularly funny since cows are inherently clumsy and have a bad sense of balance, but it's also sad because many of the cows are injured when they fall over. And Cows can't get up from the tipped over position. So cow tipping will actually kill the cow, unless the farmer helps it stand back up. Not an easy task, in any way shape or form. What a jackassed passtime if you ask me, cow tipping . . .
