According to the Front Page post, Tyler must have reccently been watching Kenshin. Or listening to the song "Freckles". Or just thinking about it.
Whatever.
Let's discuss this rapidliy aging series that is still pretty sweet.
Oh, by the way....
I'd go gay for Seijuro Hiko

I've only seen 6 eps and read some Manga for Kenshin. So I can't say much...But I can say the Opening is stuck in my head. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." - Calvin

I haven't seen a scrap of it. This is another one of those series I'd like to see but don't have the time or the money. I also don't have a clue what it's about. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

wow, i'm so glad to see this finally happening...it was really a smart move by cn, seeing as it's a 95 episode series (though i wonder if adv'll let 'em air the movie sometime down the line)
well, hopefully by airing 'em on tv, media blasters will get around to releasing the box sets that were mentioned after the ending credits on the last dvd, so i don't have to buy all 22 volumes individually like my friend did...
still, with my two favorite anime's coming to tv (kenshin and trigun [the latter to adult swim]), i'm psyched...could we be on the verge of another "golden age" of toonami? _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

if they would ditch g gundam and dbz then I would most definitly agree that we're heading for another golden age. but for now it seems more like we're heaaing for a gold plated age. so lets see which shows have they basicly said are coming to toonami? (giant robot week doesn't count)
actually now that I think about it I'll add recent series to the list.
Kenshin
Superior Defender
Yu Yu Hakisho
.Hack//SIGN
???
Event hoguh that is a pretty good haul what I'd really like to see is Toonami having enough shows to air a totally different block on saturdays using none of the same shows from during the week. actually shouldn't be that hard for them to do. Toonami Weekday is still half old series. At least with DBZ it's getting new episodes so I can see that staying, but G Gundam needs to go to 1 day a week or away entirely. Once we have a dominetly (over half) new fresh schedule again is when I'll say we're in a new age. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

{pounding heat at CN stupidity for putting this on Toonami, and trying to kill Adult Swim with Reign- the male porn star} |

about reign really quick. shows like that are on Japanese TV all the time. You all keep saying that America needs to expand it's horizons on what should be on television and in its animation. Well CN listened and what do you fucking people do? cry whine and complain. fucking fanboys. as for kenshin. ok fine we'll just replace it with three days ago dragonball Z. how do you like that? _________________ "Veni. IF the shows seen during Giant Robot week become full-time on Toonami, where will they find time to show all these series?
Assuming Toonami will be 2 hours again it just seems like they'll have more shows than time to air them.
Unless some will be shown on Toonami Reactor....?
EDIT: OK, they could also show a bunch of Toonami on Saturdays... _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

I'm starting to wonder if they'll be anything left to buy with every good series coming to TV one way or another. _________________ Bang. |
