Still holding out a slim hope for Clark. He's not a politician- he's a general. A guy who's a bit more human than the others. Still, most of the other guys are okay. Lieberman and Sharpton are the only two I really hate, and Lieberman's gone now.
Of course at this point, the odds of Kerry not making it are approaching 3,720 to 1. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

Clark = not good
Friend in navy intellegence tell me he was ->||<- that close to getting a dishonorable discarge on acount of something stupid he did (like ordering open fire on civilians stupid). But since you really can't give somebody of his rank a dishonorable discharge they just kinda forced him out sort of a thing. |

I think you can sing that other Queen song now, Andro-
Quote: |
WASHINGTON - Wesley Clark, the novice politician with four-star military credentials, abandoned his presidential bid Tuesday after two third-place finishes in the South.
The retired Army general will return to Little Rock, Ark., on Wednesday to announce his departure from the race, said campaign spokesman Matt Bennett. Clark will pledge to work closely with the Democratic Party to support the presidential nominee and other candidates across the country.
"He made this decision after discussing it with his family and his staff," Bennett said. "It was a very difficult decision to make obviously. He did it after the final results were in for Tennessee and the decision is final."

'You're such a dirty louse go get outa my house'
That's all I ever get from your family ties
In fact I don't think I ever heard
A single little civil word from those guys
I don't give a light
I'm gonna make out all right
I've got a sweetheart hand
To put a stop to all that
Snipin' and grousin' |

Check out the "hook" while my DJ revolves it...more Queen!
Quote: |
BURLINGTON, Vt. - Howard Dean (news - web sites), bowing to the political realities of a 17-contest losing streak, ended his Democratic presidential campaign Wednesday but promised to keep his "campaign for change" alive while supporting his party's eventual nominee.
For now, the former Vermont governor did not endorse either of his top rivals, Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites) of Massachusetts or Sen. John Edwards (news - web sites) of North Carolina. He called both men before his announcement to tell them his decision.
"I am no longer actively pursuing the presidency," Dean told a crowd of cheering, flag-waving supporters. "We will, however, continue to build a new organization using our enormous grass-roots network to continue the effort to transform the Democratic Party and to change our country."

I think that's why Dean's support didn't turn into votes...he was too different from the other Democratic candidates (who all sound like closet Republicans to me) and ultimately seen as unelectable.
And the Democratic Party right now wants to beat President Bush in the worst way possible, above all other considerations.
This is why I stay out of party politics. Nobody want to risk being different if they want to win. That's why Sharpton's hanging in there. He knows he doesn't have a chance of winning, but he's willing to tough it out as long as possible to: 1) maybe get some delegates and 2) gain influence over the party's general election platform. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S.
