Don't blame the messenger, blame Syd Mead.
For those who don't know, this is the title suit from the show:
I think it was meant to be the closing chapter of the UC timeline, because there are Zakus and a Gallop.
The beam weapons are WMDs, they killed a major city in 2 shots. |

| Apparently you can't get past the mech and see the story. The characters in Turn A are just more...real than Kira or Heero or even Amuro. |

Oh no trust me, I have learned to get past looks. Hell, you know how hard it was for me to go from something like Wing to the original? If it wasn't for the fact that I was a Macross fan, I'd never have gotten past the fact that MSG looked horrid.
Fine, I'll tell ya what I'll do. I go and download those from suki and watch it. And once I'm finished, I'll have the right to bitch about it in full. |

I've seen the first five episodes. Horrible music, decent animation, intriguing story that takes a while to pick up on, ugly character and mech designs and too much male nudity. _________________ Bang. |

Do you see how it's kinda the real end of UC continuity?
Gundam X is the final word on Newtypes(they're mutants, not a new species), and Turn A shows that someone will eventually develop the ultimate weapon in the form of the Moonlight Butterfly and used it. My only question is how the "Moonrace" stayed alive on the moon with no resupply from Earth for 2000+ years. |

Simple - they slept. _________________ Proud creator of the Wikipedia RX-78 mobile suit series article.

Robots?
I haven't seen it. But it's either that, or aliens. And Gundam has never had the involvement of aliens, as far as I know. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Um, you do realize that one of the ruling Moonrace triumvirate has in his name "Maintainer", right? Some of the Moonrace remained awake to maintain the stasis systems (much how sci-fi authors imagine cryo-sleep long-haul ships would operate.) _________________ Proud creator of the Wikipedia RX-78 mobile suit series article.
