Same here man. I'm new here so I just saw what I hope wasn't the final episode of IGPX and that was a sexy kiss Liz gave Takeshi. _________________ "Never confuse being lazy with being apathetic. Post subject: IGPX Demise: Make it stop!
I am un-explainably depressed at the recent death of IGPX. I agree with many of you. I loved the uniqueness of the show, it's reality, good story line, and, oh yeah, the cussing. I also think it's wrong for Toonami to cancel it's own origial production. I believe if we complain enough to the right people, we can get the show back in production. If any one knows who to contact to get this done and how, let me know. As soon as I find out, I'll post the contact info so everyone can make themselves heard. Not to sound corny, but together we might get the show back on the air! Scratch that, no matter how you say it, it sounds corny. But seriously, let's do this!!

Hold on there, young son. Nothing has been cancelled. The last episode (with said smooch) was always meant to be the last one. That's it. No more.
If CN wants to undertake another anime production anytime soon, I'd much rather they pump out a third season of the Big O.
To be honest, the first season of IGPX was boring. Season two was actually pretty damn good until the very last race. I mean, sure, combining robots might be unique for the IGPX universe, but here in the real world that hasn't been popular since Voltron and Power Rangers. The only reason to even watch the last episode is for the epilogue, which was... fun
Also, petitioning CN to sink large sums of money on more anime doesn't have a very good track record as a strategy. If anything, it makes them take anime less seriously if they feel the only people who care about such programming are a crazed high school minority. _________________ <:3)~

"Young son"? "Crazed high school minority"? I agree with you on CN ending it for the reasons it did, and I definitely feel you when you say season 2 was way better than season 1 --- but what's with the harsh words?? You could have gotten your point across without the sarcasm and childish name-calling. I still think that IGPX is still the greatest show I've ever seen even if it was only meant to be on for 2 seasons.

"Young son" is a term of endeearment where I come from.
Also, who said I was referring to you specifically when I mentioned crazy high schoolers? I'm in my twenties and I still got damn gleeful when IGPX would come on TiVo.
That said...
ONOES the internet offended me~
There, NOW I'm being condescending =P _________________ <:3)~

Short answer: IGPX was an experiment. If it did well, more episodes might have been ordered.
Since the ratings were so bad the show was kicked off Toonami, I'd say it was not seen as a success and more episodes will not be ordered. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

Will IGPX ever appear on the face of CN ever again? I mean, other shows on CN have ended and almost all are aired again at some time or another. I'd like to see those mechs and hear the cussing at least one more time on Tonami or maybe on Jetstream . Do you think Toonami might have a marathon for the show or something? _________________ "Never confuse being lazy with being apathetic. Lazy people are not apathetic.
