Well, after all that, they pulled it a day before it aired. Why? Because the censors didn't like how one of the characters said "Sweet Jesus."
The funny thing is, apparently, the character who says it is actually refering to his Mexican friend.

Gundam is a great show, it has a lot of meaning and depth to it when you really think about it, a lesson can be learned from one show or another... _________________ Those that lack leadership ability should leave the room and make way for those that have.

yes, yes it does. i like it especially because it correctley portrays what war is like. (Without giant robots!) Plus, all of the gundam series ahs a different meaning, like for G Gundam is love, gundam wing is pride, 08th ms team is Peril (sp?) and so on with each series.

I like Gundam... A lot...
A number of fans have actually started to call Gundam a military series along with being a mecha series - like Gasaraki - becasue of its portrayal of mobile suits as mass production weapons, and not as an uber bot that can take on the world. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

does anyone know of a real war series? like military, with armies, battles, no giant robots? sure gundam is a great war series, but, still, not very close to what war is really like. sorta. i do want them to show gundam on the anime network though.

The one that I know of is called Area 88. It's more of an Airforce anime without any mech or uber-powerful machines. Really well made too, check it out. _________________ Bang.

I first saw info on the anime channel on slashdot.org, but has anyone heard a supposed date, line-up, or if it will be shown on extend basic, digital, or premium cable?
Date? Nothing yet.
Line-up? The only things we've heard so far are Gunsmith Cats, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Getter Robo, Gasaraki and RahXephon, but they didn't specify the day of the week or the time they will air. ADV Films will announce more over time.
Extend basic, digital, or premium cable? ADV Films said it'll be on cable, but we're not sure what it's gonna be on yet.
