Cracked open the gifts around midnight last night, since everyone in the family (myself included) works sometime today. Let's see here...
---
((Part 1))
CDs
- Metallica: Kill 'Em All
(almost caught up with their albums...)
- Van Halen: Van Halen III
(haven't heard much good about it, but it completes my collection...)
PS2 Stuff
- Guitar Hero w/guitar controller
(freakin' awesome...)
- Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
(suppose i should play the first one sometime soon, eh?)
- Wild Arms Alter Code: F
(played the original and enjoyed it...here's hoping the remake is just as good...)
Other
- Miami Dolphins winter jacket
- Black Nike cap
- Rolling Stones t-shirt
---
Apparently there's still some DVDs from the folks that didn't ship in time. In addition, there's also the gift exchange with my friends left to do, so more is yet to come...
That said, it doesn't get much better than Guitar Hero. That alone is enough to make this Christmas awesome... =)
[Added 12/29]
---
((Part 2: The Rest))
CDs
- Creed: Greatest Hits
- Def Leppard: Hysteria
- Guns N' Roses: Greatest Hits
- Metallica: Kill 'Em All
DVDs
- The Simpsons Season Six
- The Simpsons Season Seven
- Rurouni Kenshin Vol. 13
PS2 Stuff
- Hot Shots Golf Fore!
---
A great Christmas for me overall. Hope everyone else here can say the same... _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

In a sad turn of events, my parents had more stuff to open this morning than my sister and I did... Perhaps as you get older you get less "stuff" (things that aren't cash or checks) until you're in your mid 50s (and your kids are out of the house, almost out of the house, or in college), then you start getting stuff again instead of cash or checks. As great as money is, it's still nice to have boxes to open. Boxes with things inside.
Ski socks
Hairbrush (WTF?! )
The most recent Harry Turtledove novel
The most recent Brian Jacques novel
Borders/Waldenbooks gift card
Hemp-dyed t-shirt from Crazy Shirts
Two Hawaiian shirts (not the tacky tourist types)
Backpack/daypack type thing
A large variety of cash and checks
Good times. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.
