Gah! Why can't they advertise the changes in schedule? HMMM? And why was it not POINTED OUT BLATANTLY that there was a change of schedule??? This is hte 3rd time in 4 weeks that I've missed an episode. I am most un-pleased. _________________ anime is teh s uck

::sigh:: ...after being out of town for a few days i was really looking forward to kicking back and watching my tape with bardock, kenshin and .hack//sign on it...while i got the first and third ones, seeing the jackie chan cartoon where i was expecting kenshin didn't quite thrill me (for lack of a better term)...
while i saw the episode a little over a year ago, i'm not going to try a summary this week since i can't honestly remember where this one ended and the next one began, and the last thing i wanna do is spoil anything as we hit the end of the story...if someone else would like to fill in the gap, that'd be great...
now to set my vcr to the current kenshin timeslot: saturday nights at 11pm... _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

Agreed. CN really has been, and continues to be slacking in this area.
This, on top of changing the schedule at a moment's notice, makes me wonder HOW they manage to pull in their improving ratings. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Yah some advertising for the switch would have been nice. Coming home at about 12 just waiting to pop in my tape of kenshin battling it out with soujiro was all that was keeping me going. And then came the let down......

i just want to bring up a related tangent that cp mentioned in a thread which has since been locked:

B) TI should post it, in bold (that fact that Kenshin shifted times was NEVER on the main page. That dissapoints me. You guys are falling behind in your duties.) AND re-post it THAT DAY.
i personally feel responsible for not bringing up the rumored time change of rurouni kenshin when i heard about it a few weeks ago...while i didn't know the exact date it was to change, i should have at least alerted you (and the other kenshin fans around here) of the situation, and i apologize for my lack of action, especially since i've covered the time changes in the past...
while we're on the topic of infolink updates though, whatever happened to the weekly schedule reminders for the toonami and "almost" toonami shows? was this just dropped or are we looking for a new person to fill in? because depending on my schedule... _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

There is the weekly SVES schedule, HOWEVER, they said that weeks highlights and FAILED TO MENTION THE KENSHIN TIME CHANGE. Don't get me wrong, TI has been GREAT with news, however stuff like this should be BLANTANTLY POINTED OUT TO US MULTIPLE TIMES because we all have ADD and long term memory issues.
Again, TI great, could be slightly better. I don't wish to insult, only to offer constructive critisism. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Williams Street has failed!
They made a huge mistake trying to make the Battosai a kids show. They're paying the price now by having to move it to 11:00, while still keeping the abominable Y7 rating.
Now we have a bastard show, too violent for Toonami, but unable to air on Adult Swim due to WS's policy. A true shame. Supposedly, after the end of what's left of their bastardized Kyoto, there won't be any more episodes. _________________ Sometimes I miss my sanity- Wedge Antilles

[didn't get a chance to proofread, so i apologize for any spelling/gramattical errors]
i'm done fighting the issue of kenshin being on adult swim beat, so we'll just have to agree to disagree...you can claim that it belongs there because a show like inuyasha's already set the precedent, and i can point to other shows saying it wouldn't work, but since neither one of us is going to budge on our stance, i'm just gonna end all that here...i back williams streets' decision to bring the show to toonami, though it's a shame just how badly they were harassed by the bs&p...
cp, if you look back through the past month, the only sves schedules that have been posted here all were due to shows being moved around...just a few months ago, i believe it was knuxfive that updated us every monday on what we'd be seeing on the toonami block as well as related shows airing outside of the block itself, and that's what i meant to address earlier...anyone know what happened to that? _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

And after the final battle with Shisio, Kenshin will be cancelled. That works out great, doesn't it? _________________ Sometimes I miss my sanity- Wedge Antilles

We don't know that for sure yet. Merely idle speculation on someone's part... _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

So the show is like the bastard child of all the shows?
