You've doomed us all! I actully was overhearing the episode in the background, thought it was silly, but it seemed to have it's keen moments that made me smile. I actully enjoyed what they did to the voices, they hired some worth VA's, and it seems they actully like their job, putting spirit and emotion into it.
Anyways, I still stand firm that it will flop and end up in the onscure timeslot, I just don't see a slap happy anime about the battles agsinst an evil anti-hair empire will survive in the current time-slot. _________________ -Ixidor

So after seeing this thread pop up in the forums. I realized that I to had to watch this. I didnt read the thread because I was afraid of spoilers.
What was I smoking?
Ok so this makes Fooley Cooley seem like Shakespere. I was ok with Bo. I liked the flashback movies even. I even laughed at the people living in his nose. But when he launched his attack against the head of G Unit (G=Gay?) the booger attack lost me. Its just not my kind of humor.
But to hear David Lucas (ok Steven Blum or just call him Spike. It makes it easier to remember) being forced to read the title during the commercial breaks. Almost made it worth watching.
Not sure if Ill go back for episode 2. But then Im also strange in that I watched the first episode of Naruto and didnt like it. Im just not the follower type.
Watching this reminded me a lot of the way A-Ko plays out. The whole straight up parody of anime approach. Never taking itself seriously.

I like this show. It made me laugh out loud. This show is so wierd it's funny. I didn't catch the Toonami premiere. I just saw it yesterday.
