There was a Highlander series, Blade. It didn't really follow the plot of the movies at all, but was rather good at the time. Except not many people died, and anytime you saw someone get their head chopped of all you saw was the person doing the chopping and the result was assumed.

Hi, I am new to these forums, and I agree with a lot of the stuff you guys have mentioned but here is some I found missing lol.

What about Count Duckula? The Racoons? David the Gnome (and the follow up Adventures of . . . ) The Koalas (not sure on name). Picture Pages (hated the skit but was hypnotized by Bill Cosby's opening and closing theme). Or how about Skeleton Warriors. But those are just a few I could think of off hand more should come later. LOL

Side note: Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was awesome. And there is an arcade game of it made by capcom. It is now available in rom form for an emulator called callus. Pretty fun in a final fight sort of way.

IF it doesn't violate any rules on the board, you can instant message me for a copy. It doesn't matter which one lol.

That's all for now

I was under the impression they didn't want roms for games that can actually still be aquired being discussed or something. I could be wrong though.

As for extinct shows, does anyone remember a show called the Adventures of Galaxy Rangers? Or something like that...

It wasn't that bad, it was just a strange cartoon for kids.

Hey! David the Gnome rocked! Like Care Bears! (Don't you give me that look.) C'mon, when you're 3, both of those shows kick ass. Unless gnomes freak the crap out of you, in which case I can see not liking it. But both of those shows were great childrens shows.

And no information on where to get roms may be distributed on this forum. Period. That is the rule from the old gaming forum.

again, I get the impression that there is a good reason for some of these shows being extinct...

Your not alone AG... your not alone, I have the same feeling about clowns, but that was not right bringing that gnome back from being almost a none existent memory...
Anyway I also remembered Hong Kong Phooey, She-Ra, and Attack of the killer tomatoes.

I remember Botsmaster. I saw it once, and loved it. Unfortunately, I very rarely got sick, and it was on at 10 am on weekdays. The next time I was able to watch TV at that time, it was either gone or I forgot about it. Hey, I was seven at the time!

Looking back on it, it was a perfect show for me as a child. It was at the time when I was just getting into sci-fi, and it was close enough. Anymore, it would be very inane and very stoopid. *sigh* Actually, that makes a lot of sense. Kids are dumb. Wink
